I was surprised to find out she was from the US; I had assumed she was European by the way she carried herself. The opposite of brash. This book provides a limited level of specificity, which allows the reader to project their own young love story onto the characters.
I fell in love young, though my person is still with me, but Ms. Rucci gives me hope that I will connect with my love when he gets to the other side or vice-versa. A beautiful and tragic love story.
